Madhuri's Husband name is Dr. Sriram Madhav Nene who is an Indian-American, UCLA trained cardiovascular surgeon.He also belongs to a Maharashtrian Koknastha Bramhin family. Madhuri gave birth to his two sons, Arin in March 2003 in Colorado, USA and Ryan on March 8, 2005 in Colorado. Madhuri Dixit also has two elder sisters named Rupa and Bharati, and an elder brother, named Ajit. Madhuri currently lives with Dr. Nene and her two children in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Madhuri's most wanted film is a 1994 film named "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" which was directed by Sooraj Barjatya and one of the most successful Bollywood films ever. The film consists of story of 2 Indian middle class families and the love relationships between them, celebrating traditional Indian culture using latest production values. It is noted for its unique Marwari wedding ceremonies. The popular sound track of the film , including an unusually large 14 songs, was scored by Raam Lakshaman. HAHK stars Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit, two of the top Bollywood stars of the 1990s. The film was also dubbed into Telugu as Premalayam. HAHK was very influential and inspired young filmmakers such as Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. This movie was dubbed into telugu as Premalayam and become a silver jubliee(175 days) film in Tollywood.
